a truck driver who’s an owner/operator forms an LLC, at the end of the year he give’s himself a w-2 showing he had a personal income of $25,000 now he qualifies for all state aid, insurance, food stamps, bridge card for his family, this is in Michigan. Is this legal?? Will he eventually get caught?? […]

My friend claims that the $40,000 she received for being a surrogate is un-taxable. Is this true? I was under the impression that the IRS doesn’t care where or how the source of income is received.
